Starting from nothing in the 1960’s, my father Norm Peterson, began manufacturing sand cast white bronze window hardware. His company, Melron Corporation, quickly grew into a primary supplier of window hardware to the aluminum window industry.

I took over in 1996 when my father passed away and in the spring of 2002, we moved into a new 27,000 square foot building. A new facility and equipment put us in a position to meet the demands of a changing market and our focus in the intervening years has been on providing the best architectural products and customer service in the industry.

During this time, Melron has made a significant investment in design technology, allowing us to complete custom projects quickly and economically.  We have the capability of producing functional prototypes out of ABS plastic and can progress from a concept to a cast sample in a matter of weeks.

As the second-generation owner, I am passionate about doing business like my father did, fostering honest and mutually beneficial relationships. Melron’s commitment is to partnering with our customers to ensure that the products and services we provide them are tailored to meet their needs and contribute to the overall success of their businesses.
